FAQ

Questions

Is this the official Reddit API?
No. Toolzer Hub is not affiliated with Reddit. Reddit's own Data API needs an OAuth app and access by request, and its free access allows 100 queries a minute per OAuth client.
What data does it return?
Subreddit posts and details, Reddit-wide search, a post's details and comments, r/popular, and a user's profile, posts and comments, all as JSON.
Do I need a Reddit account or an OAuth app?
No. You send your Toolzer Hub key in the x-api-key header. We do not ask for Reddit credentials.
What does it cost?
Every endpoint is 1 credit per call. New workspaces get 100 credits a month at no cost; plans work out to $0.99 to $1.45 per 1,000 calls. Failed calls are not charged.
How do I get more than one page?
Feed endpoints return next_cursor. Send it back as the after parameter to get the next page.
How fast is it?
In our test of all 9 endpoints on 13 Oct 2026, the median call took 3.9 seconds. Post details was the slowest, at 13 to 17 seconds.
