The four categories
- Necessary. Needed for the site and dashboard to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always on.
- Preferences. Remember settings such as light or dark mode.
- Analytics. Show us how the site and dashboard are used so we can improve them.
- Advertising. Measure which ads and campaigns bring people to us.
How your choice works
EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland. We ask first. Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you choose “Sure, accept” in the banner. If we cannot tell where you are, we treat you the same way.
Everywhere else. Analytics and advertising cookies are on by default. You can turn them off at any time with Cookie settings.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal and you have not made a choice, we treat it as “No thanks”.
Your choice is saved for one year and applies to all three sites. Choosing “No thanks” stops new analytics and advertising cookies and deletes our tz_attr cookie. Cookies that other providers set before you changed your mind stay until they expire or you clear them in your browser.
When analytics and advertising are off, Google tags do not set or read cookies. They may still send basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed, which Google uses for measurement in aggregate. PostHog stops collecting and keeps only a small flag that you opted out.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.
