TikTok Shop API: what it covers and public product data

TikTok Shop's official API serves apps that sellers authorize. Get public product data as JSON instead: 1 credit a call, up to 150 products.

You want TikTok Shop products as data: prices, ratings, review counts and the shop behind each listing. TikTok's official TikTok Shop API is built for apps that sellers install to run their own shop, so it does not return another seller's catalog. ToolzerHub returns public product data as JSON with one API key.

What TikTok Shop's API is for

The TikTok Shop API lives in Partner Center, where developers build apps that sellers install to run their own shop: processing and shipping orders, and syncing products and inventory from other marketplaces. A separate Affiliate API finds products with open collaborations by category, commission rate and keywords, and retrieves affiliate orders. An app works on the shops that authorized it, so none of this pulls another seller's catalog, prices or review counts. The Affiliate search is the one cross-seller view, and it covers only products with open affiliate collaborations.

What the response means:

  • seller_id is the shop that listed the product. Pass it to /v1/tiktok-shop/seller/products for that shop's catalog.
  • sold_count is the sold number on the public product card. It is not the seller's revenue, and price times sold_count is not revenue either.
  • price and review_count are strings; rating is a number out of 5. has_more: true means the storefront reports more products.

Which storefronts it covers

Keyword search on /v1 covers the US storefront. Search in SG, MY, PH, TH and VN runs on /v2/tiktok-shop/products/search at 2 credits a call, paged with page_token. Product detail, reviews and category products cover US, GB, SG, MY, PH, TH, VN, JP and MX.

/v1/tiktok-shop has 16 endpoints: product detail, reviews, showcase videos, seller catalog, shop profile, related-product lists, category products and breadcrumbs, home carousels and search-page widgets. Listings take a count (1 to 150) instead of a cursor, and reviews take count up to 500.

What it costs

Every /v1/tiktok-shop call costs 1 credit, whatever count you ask for. One search returns at most 150 products, with no cursor past that. TikTok's pages repeat products and we drop the repeats: asking for 90 returned 61 distinct, so 1,000 products take about 17 calls, or 17 credits, spread over several keywords or shops.
